There is a beautiful legend about pansy. A long time ago, when Cupid was shooting arrows, he accidentally shot an arrow onto a white viola flower. People believe that pansy can bring love and happiness.

Cultivation methods:

1. Light: Pansy likes sufficient light, but it needs appropriate shading in high temperature in summer to avoid direct strong light.
2. Temperature: The suitable growth temperature is 15℃ - 25℃. It is relatively cold-resistant but not high-temperature resistant.
3. Soil: Choose loose, fertile and well-drained soil.
4. Watering: Keep the soil moderately moist but not waterlogged. Water in moderation to avoid root rot caused by excessive watering.
5. Fertilization: During the growth period, appropriate fertilization can be done to promote plant growth and flowering. Organic fertilizer or compound fertilizer can be selected and fertilized frequently with thin fertilizer.

Precautions:

1. Pest control: Check the plants regularly and deal with pests and diseases in time. Pesticides can be used for prevention and control, but pay attention to the usage method and safety.
2. Timely pruning: Prune the withered flowers and dead branches in time after flowering to keep the plant beautiful and promote the growth of new flowers.
3. Avoid waterlogging: Pansy is not tolerant to waterlogging. Ensure good soil drainage to avoid root rot caused by waterlogging.
4. Winter protection: In cold areas in winter, pay attention to keeping pansy warm and protected. Hay or plastic film can be covered.
