Today, I'm going to share the beautiful hibiscus with you.

The flowers of the hibiscus are large and bright, with especially rich colors such as red, pink, and yellow. The petals are layered one after another, just like the beautiful skirts worn by little fairies. The leaves of the hibiscus are also very characteristic. They are green and shiny, somewhat oval - shaped, with some small serrations on the edges. The leaves grow thickly, providing a great foil for the flowers.

According to legend, the hibiscus grew out of the sun! In ancient times, people thought that the hibiscus was like the sun, full of warmth and strength. The symbolic meaning of the hibiscus is also very good. It represents passion, light, and hope. If you give someone a hibiscus, you are conveying passion and friendship. Moreover, the hibiscus also symbolizes love. If someone gives you a hibiscus, perhaps they are confessing their love to you.

The flowering period of the hibiscus is relatively long. As long as it is properly cared for, its blooming flowers can be seen from spring to autumn. The hibiscus loves sunlight, so you should place it in a sunny place. However, when the sun is too strong in summer, you also need to shade it a little, or else the flowers will be damaged by the sun.

Watering is also very important. The hibiscus likes a moist environment, but you can't water it too much, or else the roots will rot. Generally speaking, water it a little when the soil surface is dry. When watering, make sure the water penetrates thoroughly and flows out from the bottom of the flowerpot.

Fertilization is also essential. The hibiscus has many flowers and thus requires a lot of nutrients. You can fertilize it at regular intervals. For example, you can use special compound fertilizers for flowers or make some organic fertilizers by yourself. When fertilizing, be careful not to use too much, or else the flowers will be burned to death.

Also, pay attention to pest and disease prevention. Sometimes, the hibiscus may have insects or get diseases. If you find insects or diseases, take measures immediately. You can spray insecticides or fungicides. Usually, also pay attention to keeping the environment clean and tidy so that the hibiscus can grow well.

How to cuttage the hibiscus? First, prepare some tools such as scissors, flowerpots, and soil. Then, select a healthy hibiscus branch, preferably one that is relatively sturdy and free of pests and diseases. Cut the branch off and cut it into sections. Each section should be about ten centimeters long. When cutting, pay attention that the scissors should be sharp and the cut should be flat.

After cutting the branches, place them in a cool and ventilated place for a while to let the cut dry. Then, prepare the flowerpot and fill it with loose and breathable soil. You can use special flower - cultivation soil or make your own soil by mixing decomposed leaf soil, garden soil, and sand.

Insert the dried branches into the soil. Don't insert them too deep, about one - third to one - half is fine. After inserting, gently compact the soil and then water thoroughly. Finally, place the flowerpot in a cool and ventilated place and avoid direct sunlight. After a few days, the hibiscus branches will gradually grow roots.

In short, the hibiscus is a very beautiful and distinctive flower with high value both for ornamental and medicinal purposes.
