It is believed that no girl can refuse roses! Today, I'm sharing a type of "Diana rose" with pink petals. This rose was introduced by a German company in 1989. It was launched to commemorate Princess Diana, so its flower shape has an inherent noble and queenly temperament.
The flower language of the Diana rose is very romantic. It says that falling in love with you is the greatest happiness of my life. Without you, I would be like a lost ship. Therefore, it can express the meaning of loving you implicitly. In the flower market, it is available in two options: fresh flowers and potted plants. Let's first talk about the maintenance method of fresh flowers. After bringing them back from the market, unpack them. Because there are thorns at the root, you can buy a pair of gloves if possible, then cut the root at a 45-degree angle, put it in a deep bucket for flower awakening for about two hours. When putting it in the bucket, try not to let the flower heads touch the water because it is prone to gray mold.
After flower awakening, you can use a thorn remover to remove the thorns and leaves on it. Just keep 1-2 ornamental leaves. After removing the leaves, also observe whether the petals are damaged or have gray mold. If so, they need to be removed immediately. Finally, choose a vase with a larger opening, add half the amount of water, and you can also add preservatives or 84 disinfectant. Hold the flowers together in a spiral manner, align the flower heads from top left to bottom right, and then cut the root diagonally according to the height of the flower pot. Generally speaking, change the water every 2-3 days, clean the vase each time, and pay attention to ventilation. Remember not to spray the flower heads with a watering can as this is prone to gray mold.
In addition to fresh-cut flowers, many flower lovers also like to grow Diana roses in pots. When maintaining Diana roses at home daily, first pay attention to giving them sufficient sunlight. They need at least 6 hours of direct sunlight every day. It is recommended to place them by the indoor window or on the balcony. Regarding watering, follow the principle of moist soil. In summer, watering needs to be more frequent, while in other seasons, it can be done once a week. Finally, to have beautiful flowers, fertilization is of course indispensable. During the vigorous spring and summer seasons, applying a fertilizer rich in phosphorus and potassium once a month can help it bloom. In winter, fertilization can be reduced or stopped to allow the plants to enter a dormant state.
