"Shuimo Jiangnan" Phalaenopsis has abundant flowers. Although its petals are thin, it can maintain a long flowering period. The light purple edges are gradually diffused, with some dotted embellishments like ink splashing, exuding a kind of restrained and charming fairy-like charm.

The flowering period of "Shuimo Jiangnan" Phalaenopsis usually lasts for 3 to 6 months. Under suitable conditions, it can continuously display its unique charm from the beginning of blooming to withering, adding a touch of elegance to the home space.

When the leaves of "Shuimo Jiangnan" Phalaenopsis are too dense, they can be pruned appropriately. Generally speaking, if there are withered leaves, yellow leaves or leaves that are too dense and affect ventilation and light transmission, pruning can be considered. When pruning, use sharp and disinfected scissors and cut off the leaves 1 to 2 centimeters away from the base. However, it should be noted that excessive pruning should be avoided because leaves are important organs for Phalaenopsis to carry out photosynthesis. Retaining an appropriate amount of healthy leaves plays a key role in the growth and flowering of the plant. For example, if too many leaves are pruned off, it may lead to insufficient nutrient accumulation of the plant, thus affecting its subsequent growth and re-flowering.

**Secrets of Daily Maintenance**

**Light**: It prefers diffused light. It is recommended to place it in a bright indoor place without direct sunlight, such as the inside of the windowsill or the balcony with a sunshade net, to ensure sufficient photosynthesis.

**Temperature**: The most suitable growth temperature is 18 to 28 °C. In winter, it is necessary to keep the temperature no lower than 15 °C. In summer, attention should be paid to ventilation to lower the temperature and avoid high temperatures.

**Watering**: Follow the principle of "watering when the soil is dry and stopping when it's wet". Water it about once every 7 to 10 days, and adjust it according to the season and humidity specifically, ensuring thorough watering while avoiding water accumulation.

**Fertilization**: Apply a thin liquid fertilizer once every 2 to 3 weeks during the growth period. Increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers before the flowering period. Apply them along the edge of the flowerpot and avoid getting them on the leaves and flowers.

**Maintenance Tips**

Pay attention to the water quality when watering. It is recommended to use rainwater, purified water or tap water that has been left standing for more than 24 hours.

Regularly check the plants to prevent pests and diseases. If pests such as scale insects are found, biological or low-toxicity pesticides should be used for treatment in a timely manner.

The cultivation substrate should choose materials that are loose, breathable and have good drainage, such as bark and sphagnum moss, and replace them once every 1 to 2 years. Be careful to avoid damaging the roots during the operation.
