Today, I must recommend to you an "excellent student" in the orchid world - Phalaenopsis Pink Pearl. It also has a very cool name, Double Pride.

Phalaenopsis Pink Pearl stands out among many flowers with its unique charm and once achieved a good result of third place in the Taiwan Orchid Show! Its flower shape and color are very similar to those of the second-place Baby. It has an elegant flower posture, with gentle pink petals that exude a gentle temperament. The edges of the petals are also decorated with a circle of white lace, looking fresh and elegant. Whether placed on the coffee table in the living room or used as a decoration in the study, it can instantly enhance the style and warm atmosphere of the space.

Phalaenopsis Pink Pearl has a long flowering period. Under normal maintenance, it can bloom on the branches for 2 to 3 months. Even if it is cut and placed in a vase, it can still remain beautiful for more than a month, surrounding you with beauty every day. Moreover, its flower buds don't fall off easily, which is really friendly to novice flower growers!

During the maintenance of Phalaenopsis Pink Pearl, if root rot occurs, it is mostly caused by overwatering, poor ventilation or inappropriate planting materials. Once discovered, immediate rescue is needed.

First, carefully remove the plant from the flower pot with gentle movements to avoid damaging the healthy roots. Gently rinse the roots with clean water to completely remove the old planting materials and expose the roots completely. Carefully observe the condition of the roots and use a sterilized scissor to cut off all the blackened and soft parts until healthy white roots are seen. Soak the trimmed roots in a carbendazim solution diluted about 1,000 times for about 20 to 30 minutes for sterilization to prevent further infection by germs. After soaking, place the plant in a cool and ventilated place to dry. Wait until the water on the surface of the roots evaporates and the roots become slightly wilted before proceeding to the next step.

In the subsequent maintenance, when replanting, choose planting materials with good air permeability, such as a mixture of sphagnum moss and bark. The sphagnum moss needs to be soaked in advance and the water squeezed out, and the bark also needs to be cleaned. Plant the phalaenopsis in the new planting materials and place it in a place with bright light but no direct sunlight.

Watering should follow the principle of "watering when the soil is dry and not watering when it is wet". Generally, water once every 7 to 10 days, and adjust it according to the environmental humidity and temperature. When the air is dry, you can spray water around the plant to increase the air humidity, and it is advisable to keep the humidity at 50% - 70%.

Fertilization should be moderate. Apply slow-release fertilizer once every 1 to 2 months or apply thin liquid fertilizer once every 1 to 2 weeks during the growing season. The concentration should be low to avoid burning the roots. Before the flowering period, increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to promote flower bud differentiation.

Regularly check the plant and promptly remove yellow and withered leaves. If pests and diseases are found, quickly take corresponding measures.

In conclusion, only with careful care can Phalaenopsis Pink Pearl grow healthily, bloom charming flowers and add beautiful colors to life.
