Phalaenopsis Fairyland Beauty Myth has a flower diameter of about 10.5cm, belonging to the large-flowered type. Its petals are almond-yellow with a slight white tint, and the lip is lemon-yellow, creating a delicate contrast within the same color system, just like a cool breeze on a hot summer day, bringing a sense of coolness.
This orchid is very similar to the yellow-green large-flowered variety, Phalaenopsis Green Ruyi. However, upon closer inspection, the middle part of the Fairyland Beauty Myth flower is more inclined to white, and there are spots on the two lower petals; while the petals of Green Ruyi are pure, without spots, and the overall color is more emerald green.
The flowering period of Phalaenopsis Fairyland Beauty Myth is relatively long. In a suitable environment, it can bloom continuously for 2-3 months. If properly maintained, it can even be extended to 4 months. Generally, the natural flowering period is from April to June every year, but through artificial regulation, its beauty can now be admired during important festivals such as the Spring Festival, adding a warm atmosphere to the festival.
**Maintenance Points**
- **Light**: It requires bright scattered light and avoid direct strong light. It can be placed indoors near the window, and use curtains to block the excessive light to prevent the leaves from being burned.
- **Temperature**: The suitable growth temperature is 15-28°C. Keep warm in winter, as temperatures below 10°C will affect growth; and strengthen ventilation and cooling when the temperature exceeds 32°C in summer.
- **Watering**: It likes a humid environment but fears waterlogging. Follow the "see-dry-see-wet" principle. Insert your finger 2-3 centimeters into the substrate, and water when it feels dry. It is advisable to water in the morning, and in winter, the water temperature should be close to the room temperature.
- **Fertilization**: Apply thin liquid fertilizer 1-2 times a month during the growth season, and increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers before the flowering period to promote flower bud differentiation. Fertilize with thin fertilizers frequently and avoid burning the roots with concentrated fertilizers.
- **Substrate**: Select well - ventilated sphagnum moss, bark, etc. as the cultivation substrate, and replace it every 1-2 years to ensure the healthy growth of the roots.
