Today, I'd like to share with you a treasure-like Phalaenopsis with extremely high aesthetic value - the Phalaenopsis "Imperial Noble Consort".

The Phalaenopsis "Imperial Noble Consort" belongs to the medium-flowered Phalaenopsis variety, and its flowers are exquisite. The petals are light yellow with a warm luster. The white tip of the flower is matched with a purplish-red lip, there is a slight red flush in the center of the petals, and the lower petals are also dotted with red spots, which are extremely beautiful and unique.

The flowering period of the Phalaenopsis "Imperial Noble Consort" usually lasts for 2 to 3 months. With good management, it can even last up to 4 months. However, the length of the flowering period will be affected by factors such as environmental temperature and light. When the temperature is suitable, between 15 and 25℃, it can effectively prolong the flowering period. If the temperature is too high or too low, the flowers may wither in advance.

Recently, as the temperature has risen in spring, the growth of the Phalaenopsis has accelerated, and its demand for water has increased. But watering should not be done casually. When you see that the planting medium on the surface of the flower pot is slightly pale, it's time to water. It is best to water around 10 a.m., at this time the water temperature is close to the room temperature, and it will not stimulate the roots of the plant. Water thoroughly to allow the planting medium to fully absorb the water, but never let there be water accumulation. It is recommended to use a watering can to slowly water along the edge of the flower pot to avoid the water flow directly hitting the roots.

Precautions

1. Moderate light: The "Imperial Noble Consort" likes bright scattered light. In spring, when the sunlight is gentle, it can be placed near a south-facing windowsill, ensuring 4 to 6 hours of light exposure per day. However, avoid direct strong light, otherwise the leaves and flowers will be sunburned.

2. Ventilation is crucial: A good ventilation environment can reduce the breeding of pests and diseases. You can often open the windows for ventilation to let fresh air into the room. But don't place it in the path of the wind to prevent the cold wind from freezing the plant.

3. Scientific fertilization: Spring is the peak growing season of the Phalaenopsis. You can apply a thin liquid fertilizer once every 1 to 2 weeks to supplement nutrients for the plant. However, during the bud stage, reduce the amount of nitrogen fertilizer and increase the amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to promote flower bud differentiation.
