The Phalaenopsis "Little Peacock" has a small flower shape. When it blooms, it's just like a peacock spreading its tail, showing off and splendid. The purple petals are very dreamy. There are unique spots and leopard patterns irregularly distributed on the petals, which are wild and lively. Placing it at home can instantly enhance the style of the room.

The blooming period of the Phalaenopsis "Little Peacock" is extremely long! Generally speaking, with proper care, it can bloom for 3 to 4 months, lasting from late winter to spring. Moreover, it has a large number of flowers, with many flowers blooming on one stem, making it full and of extremely high ornamental value.

What should you do if the flower buds wither during the cultivation process? The withering of flower buds can really be a headache. But don't panic. Generally speaking, large temperature fluctuations, improper watering, and excessive fertilization may all lead to the withering of flower buds. If you find that the flower buds are withering, first check the cultivation environment. Move it to a place with a stable temperature between 15 and 25℃, reduce the frequency of watering, stop fertilizing temporarily, and let the plant recover.

Cultivation methods and precautions

Light: It likes bright scattered light. Never expose it to direct sunlight, otherwise the leaves are likely to get sunburned. It's fine to place it in a bright living room at home or near the windowsill.

Watering: Follow the principle of "watering when the soil is dry and seeing it wet". Touch the substrate with your hand. Water it when it's dry, and water it thoroughly when you do. When watering, be careful not to splash water onto the flowers and the centers of the leaves, as it's likely to cause the flowers and leaves to rot.

Fertilization: During the growing season, you can apply a thin liquid fertilizer every 1 to 2 weeks. Increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers before blooming, which can make the flowers more numerous and larger. However, pay attention to applying thin fertilizers frequently and avoid using concentrated fertilizers that may burn the roots.

Temperature: The suitable growth temperature for "Little Peacock" is between 15 and 28℃. Pay attention to keeping it warm in winter and don't let it get frozen, otherwise it's likely to get frostbitten.

Ventilation: A good ventilation environment is very important! You can place it in a well-ventilated place to avoid stuffiness and humidity, and reduce the occurrence of pests and diseases.
