In spring, all kinds of flowers compete with each other in beauty, and yellow flowers are a bright and warm color among them. Today, I'm going to introduce to you several kinds of yellow flowers that you shouldn't miss in spring.
Jasminum nudiflorum
Jasminum nudiflorum is the messenger of spring. When most plants are still asleep, it blooms early. Its flowers are small and delicate, golden yellow in color. Generally, there are six petals for each flower, and the flowers are solitary in the axils of the previous year's small branches. The slender branches droop naturally and sway gently with the spring breeze. It has strong adaptability and can tenaciously grow whether it is in a corner of a wall, by a stream or on a hillside, bringing the first ray of vitality of spring to the earth.
Forsythia viridissima
Forsythia viridissima is quite similar to Jasminum nudiflorum, but there are also differences upon careful observation. Its branches are upright, the small branches are yellowish green, and the leaves are opposite. The flowers are golden yellow, and the petals are slightly wider than those of Jasminum nudiflorum. Generally, there are four petals, paired with each other. Its flowering period is also relatively early, and it blooms when the spring is still cold. It is often planted in clusters in courtyards, parks and other places, adding a lot of luster to the garden landscape.
Edgeworthia chrysantha
Edgeworthia chrysantha has a unique shape. Its branches are soft, and often thirty to fifty flowers are clustered into pendulous capitulate inflorescences, just like small golden fluffy balls. Its flowers have no petals, but are composed of four sepals, golden yellow in color, and have a strong fragrance. Edgeworthia chrysantha also has a romantic implication. It is said that if you tie a knot on the branch of Edgeworthia chrysantha, your wish will come true. Therefore, it is also known as the "dream flower" and is often planted in courtyards, bringing people beautiful expectations.

The single-petal Kerria japonica has five petals, and the double-petal Kerria japonica has layers of petals, making it more plump.
